This webpage offers information on training in Cosmofacial a holistic treatment developed from the concept known worldwide as Facial Reflexology Sorensensistem TM created by Lone Sorensen.
Cosmofacial is a holistic facial that treats you from the inside-out leaving you feeling deeply relaxed with a greater sense of wellbeing as well as giving you a glowing complexion and improved muscle tone.
The Cosmo concept incorporates the best possible pure, organic products from the earth’s natural resources. Applied professionally with brushes, lava and/or salt stones the treatment is totally unique. With soothing background music and the subtle scent from the oils used, this treatment has so much to offer.
The course invites all to take part, however a therapeutic back round would be an advantage. The Elemental Facial Therapy course is a serious complementary training that any clinic or salon in the field of alternative health and beauty can use, with the focus on natural, harmonic well being, treating the inner body for outer looks. COSMOFACIAL has been designed to provide the therapist with a holistic treatment which works on the facial muscles and deep layers of the skin.
It develops an understanding of Facial Reflexology, and allows the safe, practical application of manual techniques using essential and carrier oils, minerals and salts via massage and face masks.
It also develops the student's knowledge of the theoretical background relating to the 5 Elements, Meridians and pressure points. It allows the therapist to examine these effects on facial muscles and individual skin characteristics.
Summary of Outcomes
To complete this course the students must be able to

Demonstrate and investigate the method of the colon link in relation to hormonal and psychological problems thus alleviating skin problems. |

Evaluate the 5 Elements Wood, Earth, Fire, Water, and Metal and demonstrate their use. |

Examine the Vietnamese and South American Indian zones of the face and how they help with physiological and emotional problems thus alleviating skin concerns. |
